CANE SLICER BY DASHA PARADOKS – V1

Designed, developed, tested, printed and assembled in my home studio, the Cane Slicer V1 was created entirely from scratch, including the complete mechanical design.

This fully manual tool is designed to provide extra consistency and control when slicing polymer clay canes. The guide spacing is adjusted using synchronized controls on both sides, allowing comfortable use for both right- and left-handed artists.

The thickness of each slice is manually adjustable, giving you full control over your settings and workflow.

In my own testing, I was able to consistently slice canes at approximately 1–1.5 mm thickness when using a sharp, rigid blade.

The Cane Slicer may be especially useful for anyone looking for a little extra support when slicing polymer clay canes, whether you’re already making canes regularly or simply exploring the technique for the first time.
